We saved a Humming bird today, She hit the window, I managed to get to the bird and get it off the ground, just held it for a bit, did a Reiki healing on it and gave it to my best friend who was visiting from Saskatchewan to hold and she was not sure about that, but held it any ways, Later she told me that she had prayed and this was her prayer."God had a hand in it and I asked him to heal it and that it was in his hands now". Later in the day I went out to see the bird to see how it was doing, It was like she was waiting for me to come out and see how she was cause when I came out I said how are you doing little one, gave it a little pet and off it flew and said, I am ok, I am off now, and it flew away... Hope it returns to the feeders and brings it's little ones with.
Oh the poor sweet thing! My father years ago rescued a hummingbird but it was really in distress and so he called the ....the bird people..sheesh, I can't think of their name right now...lol! but anyway, they told him it was illegal to have a hummingbird but that they would race over there and pick it up. Luckily, the poor thing survived. It had it my parents glass sliding doors to the back porch. Glad to hear the little treasure was able to fly.

It is amazing to be able to hold such a little creature. The are so beautiful.. this one hit our window, It was fortunate that I happen be there to pick it up off the ground and just let it rest in my hands for a few moments, then I passed it to my friend while I went to get a towel for it to sit on till it was ready to fly away, I hope it brings it's family back as I have many feeders, (6) all around the yard. I love my little birds.
